Boruch Dayan Hoemes: Mr. Stanley Goldstein, 87, OBM
With sadness we inform you of the passing of Mr. Stanley Goldstein OBM, the longtime owner of Bencraft Hatters and from whom the Rebbe purchased his hats. He was 87 years old.
In 1948 Bencraft Hatters was Founded by Ben Goldstein together with his son Stanley and later on joined by his son Steven. The style hats they sold appealed to many Lubavitchers and whom were customers.
The Rebbe would purchase his hats from their store and Stanley would often deliver them to Crown Heights.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Friday, at Sinai Chapels 162-05 Horace Harding Expy Fresh Meadows, NY 11365.

He was a real Mentch and a pleasure to do business with. Bencraft was not the same once he was no longer there.
He will always be fondly remembered.
