How Do We Fit 4,000 Rabbis in One Photo?

One of the main highlights of the Kinus Hashluchim takes place on Sunday morning, when thousands of Shluchim pack onto bleachers and chairs in front of 770 for the annual group portrait. How do the photographers fit so many people into one picture? With a lot of planning!

On Wednesday night Rabbi Lipa Brennan was spotted with photographers Donal Holway and Chaim Perl, along with Reb Efrayim Borenstien  who is providing the bleachers, in front of 770. With a copy of last year’s group photo in their hands, they plotted how they would successfully squeeze the thousands of Shluchim into a group picture once again this year.

Holway, who has been taking the official group photo for quite a number of years, is lending his experience and expertise to train in and groom Perl so that he may take his place in the future as the official photographer for the Kinus Hashluchim group photo.
