More than 4,000 rabbis from all over the world gathered in Brooklyn over the weekend to celebrate their culture and religion.

Rabbis and other leaders from as far as Thailand, the Congo, and eastern Europe took part in the 27th International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries.

They wrapped up the conference with huge a banquet at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook.

Many of the rabbis say the event is a great opportunity to set goals for the next year and gain spiritual inspiration.

“This is the best. When you’re here, you think there’s nothing better in the world than what I can do,” said Rabbi Moshe Katzman of the Chabad Lubavitch of Staten Island. “This is exactly what I want to do in my life.”

“We break our heads together to develop new programs for the coming year and come up with new ideas, how to invigorate our existing programs and reach even further heights in the coming year,” said Chabad of Northeastern Queens Director Rabbi Yossi Blesofsky.

The conference boasted attendees from more than 75 countries.
