Mumbai Attack Mastermind Ordered Released by Pakistani Court

A government lawyer says a Pakistani court has ordered the release of the main suspect in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks because it found no solid incriminating evidence and also a three-month detention period has expired.

Lakhvi is one of seven suspects being tried by Pakistan in connection with the attacks, which killed 166 people – including Rabbi Gabi and Rivky Holtzberg and four other Jews at the Mumbai Chabad Center.
