Rick Santorum Drops Out of Presidential Race

Rick Santorum is in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to announce the suspension of his Presidential bid.

During the press conference, Santorum spoke heavily about the stories his campaign heard across America. He called the ability to hear those stories, an “honor.”

“It’s been a wonderful story after story of people who have com forward,” Santorum said.

Sources have confirmed to numerous media outlets, including NBC News and Politico, that the former Pennsylvania Senator will drop out of the Republican race for President, effectively making Mitt Romney the de facto challenger to Barack Obama in November.

Santorum and Mitt Romney basically tied in the Iowa Caucus and Santorum was able to win the delegates of another ten states, but the conventional wisdom among most political analysts over the past few weeks has been that Romney would be the Republican nominee for President.

why is he a nut? I think that we (but probably not #1) have more ground in common with Santorum, Gingrich and Pallin that any other candidate , including those Yidden currently in power

#3, what do you think happens to it? It will be counted, of course. If you wanted to make sure it went to a candidate who was still running, you should have waited.

Don’t worry #3 about your vote. Absentee ballots still count even if the candidate drops out. At least in the state of Washington those votes count. Did you vote for Santorum and now you wonder? In my opinion so long as you voted intelligently that’s all that matters.

Santorum was the most pro-Israel of them all. I hope that Romney chooses him for his running mate.

  • wow

some of these posts are so ignorant in terms of politics. “i hope romney chooses him as a running mate”, yea, i dont think you should be allowed to vote, you obviously have not been following this process and obviously know nothing about this man and what he stands for..

  • oh well

It seems that we’ll have a Mormon president and Ricky for a VP, whilst Greenwrench goes back to making money of his political connections….

Poor Ron Paul…. The only honorable soul in a race that’s been rigged from the jump. The only candidate that would give Israel a totally freehand to solve their problems as they see fit.

Personally, I think the powers-that-be have tapped Obama for a second term. Either way, the status quo will continue. HaShem’s will be done, right?
