FDNY Battles 2-Alarm Fire on Empire Boulevard

Firefighters rushed to a two-alarm fire at an auto parts store in Crown Heights last night. Emergency responders were called to the scene at 224 Empire Blvd. just after 8:00pm.

No serious injuries were reported, and officials are investigating what sparked the flames.

Firefighters say the blaze was tough to battle as there was very limited ventilation and heavy smoke conditions throughout the building.
