Judge asked to OK sale of Agriprocessors

POSTVILLE, IA — The court-appointed trustee of Agriprocessors Inc. in Postville asked a judge today to approve the sale of the slaughterhouse to a newly formed Iowa company that bought the debt held by the plant’s two largest creditors.

The bankruptcy trustee, Joseph Sarachek, filed a motion in U.S. bankruptcy court asking the judge to allow the sale to SHF Industries, LLC.

The Bochurim used the points they earned throughout the year to get tickets for a chances to win lots of diffrent prizes. Jay served as the medical liaison for Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl Program; he passed away in April of 2004, after a valiant four-year battle against severe illness, and is survived by his wife, Sharon, and their seven children.

Included is a collection of unique pictures of the Rebbe – special thanks to the Rebbe Archive. This article is dedicated to Meir ben Avraham Pesach Kirschenbaum, who passed away on Gimmel Tammuz 5743; and to the Shluchim Rabbi Gabi Holtzberg and his wife, Rivky, HY”D, who were murdered in their Chabad House during the Mumbai attacks. PORTLAND, ME — During a historic and uplifting ceremony, the great-grandchildren of Hasidic rabbis were wed Monday night in Portland.

It was believed to be the first Hasidic wedding held in Maine in several decades.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Zisel bas Tzvi Klein, a long time resident of crown heights who was involved in variuse Chessed organizations including the Bikur Cholim for many years. Her husband Reb Aaron Klein OBM merited to be involved in the purchase of 770.

Mrs. Zisel is survived by Mrs. Devorah Faiga Goodman (Shlucha in Ashdod, Israel), Mrs. Gottlieb (Boro Park) and Mrs. Peri Garfinkel (Brooklyn).

The Levaya will take place today and will be leaving from Chevra Kadisha Shomrei Hachomos Ft. Hamilton Pkwy. & 41st St. at 3:00pm and will be passing by 770 at around 3:30pm and passing by her home at 741 Montgomery St. The kevurah will be in Eretz Yisroel.

The new playground will be available to the school’s 650 pre-kindergarten-through-fifth grade students and to families from the surrounding community.
