New Renderings Of 406 Lefferts Avenue Planned for Crown Heights

Z Architecture has published the first renderings of a new residential building planned for 406 Lefferts Avenue in Brooklyn. The structure will top off at six stories and include unspecified community facility space at the ground level.

The building will be located on the corner of Lefferts Ave and New York Ave, in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. Despite its location in the highly Jewish neighborhood, it is not clear if this building will be suitable for Orthodox Jewish families.

Beyond demolition permits filed for the removal of an existing single-story building, the developing entity does not appear to have submitted construction permits with the city’s Department of Buildings. The project team has also not revealed a construction timeline for the new development.
