DOT Rebukes “Breitkeit” Campaign

Purim 2018: The department of transportation issued a stern rebuke to Oholei Torah the flagship boys school in crown heights.

The department’s statement comes after the school’s recent fundraiser may have broken multiple transportation rules.

“The wide left turn warning may specifically be used for buses and oversized vehicles, not any minivan or SUV” said commissioner T. Paish. “such overuse of the warning can render it useless”.

“We understand that the school was running a driving competition and had only 24 hours to hit outrages driving goals. We appreciate that they wanted to warn the community of potential dangers. But such arrangements have to be made with the NYPD according to the law”, he continued.

At the time of publication, we have not heard back from the Yeshiva office, but their answering machine was still telling people to “think Breit”.

It literally says that the “commissioner’s” name is T. Paish (tipesh in hebrew means stupid…)

The word “wide” in “wide turns” is offensive and discriminatory to those of us that are overweight. The obese should make a human rights complaint and sue the blubber off DOT. Besides, DOT is using the same letters as Off The Derech: OTD, which is clearly copyright infringement since one can easily confuse DOT with OTD. Let us wish all the OTD make a wide turn and come back with simcha poretz geder.
