Christian Missionary Material Disguised As Jewish

Many residents of Crown Heights awoke this morning to find a package with a picture of the Western Wall and a Menorah containing booklets and DVDs on their doorsteps.

The envelope says it is sent by the “Israel Restoration Ministries,” but a quick glance inside affirms the source of the material: Missionaries targeting Jews in a bid for new converts to Christianity.

Please be advised of the content before bringing it into your home.

A round Menorah in crown heights should already arouse suspicion!

  • CHICAGO TOO!!!

SAME PACKAGE OF FALSE-PRETENCE DOG DROPPINGS BEING DISTRIBUTED HERE. I really enjoyed taking all the packages in the building hallway and throwing them in the garbage.

    Thank you for the alert.
We did not even open it and dumped it in the garbage.
It looked suspicious – both in language and layout.
One should stay away from any form of missionary tactics – do not even get into any conversation with them. If they approach you – just walk away.

Um, what else did anyone think an organisation called “Israel Restoration Ministries” could possibly be? In what way is this misleading? They say right out who they are. Then the cover you show talks of “The Testimony” of someone or other; again, what did you think that means?

It’s a free country; they’re just as entitled as we are to spread their beliefs, and we are entitled to reject them.

Milhouse, under whose authority is a Ben-Noach “ENTITLED” to serve Avoda Zara and spread the message to others?

    • Milhouse

Under the authority of the same first amendment that protects our right to spread our beliefs — and our right to reject theirs. No, in a world ruled by Torah they would not be allowed to make up their own
religions, even if they were not avoda zara — אין מניחין אותן לחדש דת, ולעשות מצוות לעצמן מדעתן — but this is not that world.

Are you c”v invoking dina d’malchusa to trump Torah law? Admit you commented a tipshus and let’s move on.

As Yidden, we know the reality, that they are NOT entitled to serve and spread AZ. To say otherwise is a sheker.

The reality is that we live in the USA, where — for better or worse — the Torah does not rule, and in fact is not allowed to rule. Until יד ישראל תקיפה the actual supreme law that governs the USA is the US constitution, which gives everyone the right to advertise their own religion and also the right to ignore any religious advertisements that one doesn’t like.

The filth bags. How dare they spread their fake religion on to us. Throw all their packages in the garbage and if you see them in person, chuck them into the garbage too. Converts my foot, I’ll convert them into the ground. Ugh. Filth bags.

    • Milhouse

They don’t think their religion is fake. And they have the same right to spread their religion that we have to spread ours. That’s America for you. It’s a lot better than the alternative.

Now will someone help us to put up Noahide flyers/mailers? There are only a few of us comitted to it in Crown Heights and we really need help! Just think if we could send a Noahide package (or even a flyer) like that to all the Gentiles in the neighborhood!!!!!
