Oholei Torah’s Birthday Present to the Rebbe

Oholei Torah’s 5th and 6th grade has taken its Mishnayos Ba’al Peh program to a whole new level, with its grand finale taking place on Yud Aleph Nissan – in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday.

As talmidim work their way through the different levels of Chinuch, parents and teachers alike are always looking for better ways to get the talmidim more involved. This years Mishnayos Ba’al Peh project fills the need to get the talmidim excited about learning, and since the launch of this year’s program we have seen major success.

One of the Inyonim that the Rebbeim encouraged when it came to Chinuch was the concept of Mishnayos Ba’al Peh, for not only is the talmid learning but he also reaps many other benefits.

Oholei Torah’s Mishnayos Ba’al Peh program has an even broader spectrum, because aside from the Mishnayos, it also includes, Tanya, the 12 pesukim, the names of all the Parshiyos, names of the Rebbeim and Rebetzins and many more things.

A very important thing to note is that this whole program is done only during the Talmidim’s free time, such as during recess or on their own time at home. All testing takes place during the extended lunch recess and about 75% of the 5th and 6th grades have partaken in this amazing program, for which they will receive many prizes, all in the form of Seforim.

The Mishnayos Ba’al Peh program is run by HaTomim Nochum Cohen under the direction of 5th and 6th grades Menahel Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig.
