Bais Shmuel to Relocate to Jewish Children’s Museum

The new board of Bais Shmuel – a prominent Crown Heights Shul – has announced that this Shabbos is the last the congregation will spend at its current location in Chovevei Torah. Starting next Shabbos (Parshas Vayikra), the Shul will be Davening on Shabbos and Yomtov at the Jewish Children’s Museum.

The Shul will be occupying the hall on the second floor of the building. Designated spaces on the first floor and lower level will accommodate the children’s programs.

The announcement comes after several months of deliberation by members of the Shul’s new board. “While we will always strive to improve, we believe that these changes will go a long way in helping us flourish both b’ruchnius and b’gashmius,” they wrote in a letter to the Shul’s members.

In other developments, Rabbi Levi Gorelik has agreed to split his time between the congregation he leads at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium and Bais Shmuel in Crown Heights, spending two Shabbosos every month at each Shul.

CAY shouldn’t have been in CH at all. They don’t belong here. היזהרו מהצבועים that are Carlebachs but are afraid to be called as such so they call themselves Lubavitch.

I thought it was a “hip” progressive” new age shul with a lot of working members. They can’t seem to get their act together
