‘Tzfatis’ Break In and Vandalize 770 Women’s Section

Not long after last week‘s violence in 770, ‘Tzfati’ terrorism has struck again. The latest target: An organized group of girls from Israel visiting for the occasion of chof beis shvat.

The group of girls, organized by Rabbi Aharon Eliezer Tzeitlin, has been holding shiurim and farbrengens as preparation for the auspicious day of Chof Beis Shvat. As part of their study schedule, special booklets of Sichos of the Rebbe were printed.

On Monday night at around 12:55 AM, an organized gang of Tzfatis, including Aharon Apel (well known for his involvement this past Tishrei’s late night ambush and brutal beating) and Eliyahu Singawi, broke in through the window into the Ezras Noshim of 770, where the booklets, along with other important items, were stored.

As the gang exited the window, their comrades downstairs, including Yosef Kaikov and Tzachi Cohen, collected the spoils, threw them into garbage bags and fled through the back door.

Rabbi Tzeitlin, who has been organizing the group for over a decade, says he is shocked by the robbery that has inflicted serious financial damage to the group.

All of the aforementioned Tzfatis are students of the Yeshivah in 770, and the Hanholah has yet to take any action against the perpetrators.

    Theres something really troubling about the way the Yeshiva administration reacted to the way one of their own staff got assaulted by their own students. Students which are feed, housed and receive affidavits from the Yeshiva to be in the United States.

    Oh wait, they didn’t react, in fact they didn’t say or do anything. Truth be told, we don’t need them to ‘say’ anything, we need strong action!

    But that my friends, were not going to get. Not now, not ever.

    Do you know why?

    The answer is simple.

    Just follow the money. It’s always about the money.

    Menachem Mendel Hendel and Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim

    Regarding: Chabad Lubavitch Hospitality Center Eshel Hachnosas Orchim, Inc.
    Chaired by: Menachem Mendel Hendel (a.k.a. Mendy or Mendel Hendel).

    Mr. Hendel reported giving over $100,000 from his non-for-profit to Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim.

    In 2004 Mr. Hendel reported giving the amount of $8,917 to Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim (770)

    In 2005 Mr. Hendel did not file anything to the IRS.

    In 2006 Mr. Hendel reported giving the amount of $5,000 to “Friends of Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim” (No public records were found of this organization).

    In 2007 Mr. Hendel reported giving the amount of $28,511 to Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim (770).

    In 2008 Mr. Hendel reported giving the amount of $38,026 to Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim (770).

    In 2009 Mr. Hendel reported giving the amount of $31,449 to Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim (770).

    Total amount reported to CYTT in recent years: $106,903 (not including the $5,000 given to Friends of YTT)

    There are (I’m sure) thousands of undisclosed dollars that were given, in addition to above amount.

    It is CHLEAKS.COM belief that Mr. Hendel uses funds from his non-for-profit by paying off the Yeshiva to sign affidavits for the purpose of having his boys receive student visas. Once they have these student visas they are then employed by Mr. Hendel.

    Mr. Hendel also pays the Yeshiva to let these so called “students” reside in 749 and eat from the Yeshiva dining room, although they do not actually attend the Yeshiva.

    And those is the reason that despite all the acts of violence we (the Crown Heights residents) have witnessed or heard about coming from these “students” and despite the fact that these students have participated in Mesira (informing on other Jews – usually on those who oppose Mr. Hendels agenda), the Yeshiva has taken absolutely no action and as a matter of fact did not even say a word of protest. (More about this in the comments bellow).

    The reason is now so obvious, these “students” belong to Menachem Mendel Hendel, Hendel paid for them, they are not under the Yeshivas jurisdiction.

    Taking action against these violent Meshichistim is an offense to Mendel Hendel and a threat of losing the dirty money they receive from him.

    Bottom line. It’s all about the money/Greed.

  • Standing Idel on Jewish Blood

    After two years of court appearances on October 14th, 2009, Six of our fellow Jews, fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, neighbors, volunteers in Shomrim and life residents of the Crown Heights Community were sent to trial, where they if found guilty would spend 15 plus years in prison.

    The reason these six good people were now facing possible imprisonment is as a result of an altercation they had in the Yeshiva dorm located at 749 Eastern Parkway Brooklyn, NY with a few Messianic boys (aka ‘Tzfatim’) who claimed to have been students in Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim, which is located in 770 Eastern Parkway Brooklyn NY.

    With the help of the Crown Heights Shmira which is under the leadership of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council Inc., the ‘Tzfatim’ were encouraged to make police reports and to push the case. Three weeks after the altercation the Six Jews volunteers in Shomrim (‘Shomrim Six’) were arrested and issued D.A.T. (Read the chain of events HERE http://whoisshmira.wordpres…).

    The trial lasted for six whole weeks.

    Throughout all this and much after the trial the four complaining students, Shneur Rotem, Yaakov Shatz, Gabrial Brownstein, and Elkon Moshe Gurfunkle were residing at 749, the Yeshiva dorm belonging to Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim.

    [Three others claiming to be students in the Yeshiva at the time, Shalom Cohen, Shuki Gur and Yisroel Noach Belinizki would later testify as witnesses on behalf of their Messianic friends].

    Many of these students have been employed by Mendel Hendel at one time or another.

    The Yeshiva administration did not say a word about all this. In no way did they protest this vicious blood libel -Mesira-. In no way did they try to expel these, so called, students from the Yeshiva, and in no way did they try to assist the Shomrim Six.

    When the Yeshiva administration was approached and asked for help on this matter, they straight out refused, claiming that they were scared of being terrorized by the Messianics. This claim turns out to be so far from the ultimate truth.

    The reason why the Yeshiva administration would not stand up and take action against the worse offense a Jew can commit (Mesira), has nothing to do with intimidation, harassment nor terrorism. Maybe just maybe that would be an excuse. But maybe not! Six good hard working, family men were facing 15 years prison, there is no excuse!

    The truth behind their silence is shameful and pitiful to say the least.
    Money and Greed is the ultimate reason why it was ok for Six of our fellow Jews, fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, neighbors, volunteers in Shomrim and life residents of the Crown Heights Community to go to jail.

    Mendel Hendel pays off the Yeshiva to do his biddings and to accommodate his employees.

    Why would a charity as described above need to spend $753.597.00 on legal fees, thats a lot of money? Exactly what “legal fees” does this non-for-profit charity organization have?

    $753.597.00 is a lot of money for legal fees, with this amount one could have a lawyer working for him for years. Unless of-course the cases in question are high profiled cases, which would then warrant your attorney to work over time or you are paying your different lawyers to represent different cases.

    CHLEAKS.COM was able to come up with a few ideas of where these legal fees were spent.

    1) Mr. Hendel used his non-for-profit to fund the 770 case, Merkos L’Iyonei Chinuch Vs. Mendel Sharf.

    2) Mr. Hendel used his non-for-profit to fund the Shomrim Six Mesira.

    3) Mr. Hendel used his non-for-profit to fund attorney Elie Poltrorak to write up and serve subpoenas to members of the community and for that whole litigation in general (other attorney and court fees etc…).

    4) Mr. Hendel used his non-for-profit to fund the recent Zablo Din Torah (arbitration) between the Osdoba and Schwie camp.

    1) I can very much understand why the Rabbis the community leaders the community council, has no respect from the general Lay-man of Crown Heights.

    All this bashing of the general Tzfati public, as well as the bashing of the Yeshiva, is in one word BIASED.

    I spoke to R’ Brod of the Yeshiva and was informed the following facts:

    1) Ahron Appel is NOT a yeshiva Bochur & is American citizen.

    2) Tzachi Cohen (who was involved in the issue with the Mashgiach of the Yeshiva last week) is NOT a Yeshiva Bochur for the past 6 YEARS! He was a student in 5765 (eight years ago!) and his papers expired ever since.

    3) As for 2 other names mentioned above, 1 of them was actually expelled because of these (and prior) actions; the other is also being dealt with.

    Additionally, I am privileged to present the general readership with a few eye-opener points, that I gathered from my research on this matter this week, during my talks with Hanholo members as well as with other eye-witnesses:

    1) This site wrote last week that the Mashgiach was hit in the face several times. An eyewitness told me, that while there was aggressiveness and pushing, the biased media has distorted the facts, because,

    a) The aggressors are known to be independant bochurim, NOT Yeshiva Students. The Yeshiva does NOT supply them with Student visas, and the are denied Smicha by the Yeshiva. This explains their aggressiveness.

    While a number of them do sleep in the uncontrolled Yeshiva dorimtory known as ‘749’; however, speaking to a Hanholo member, I learned that it’s legally very very difficult to close a college dormitory, and convicting each tenant from his room amounts to a fortune of approximately 100 grand. This explains alot.

    b) An eye-witness told me clearly that the mashgiach was NOT hit, definitely not in the face, and definitely not several times, as was publicized.

    2) In this day and age of international open media coverage, I wish to point out to all those objective readers, that there are approximately 200 Bochurim in 770 from the Yeshiva of Tzefat.

    99% of them practice CONSTANT self-restraint in the face of what they feel is an attempt to wash away the koch in Moshiach (the way they see it..) which the Rebbe so heroically heralded.

    Less than 1% get involved in what they see as a ‘holy war’ to preserve the Rebbe-ideals, that they feel is getting crushed by no small amount of modern-chic, Media-style Lubavitchers with other agendas.

    3) It has become dangerously common for those at war with the ‘Tzfatim’ to use means of GOYISHE criminal law enforcement to achieve their goals, whether halachically justified OR NOT. Aside for the terrible PIRTZAH in CHOIMAS HADAS, causing the horrific transgression of Mesira to be taken lightly, this only causes to antagonize the masses.

    4) Most important of all, let’s remember: violence is suppressed by JUSTICE, not HATE. Hate only ADDS to the violence. If you fall for all the media hate-promotion, and comment back irresponsibly, YOU ARE A PART OF THE PROBLEM.

    May Hashem give us the right peace of mind among Achdus and ahavas yisroel to all of our fellow BROTHERS, and may we merit Moshiach speedily.

    Furthermore:
    what are they thinking about when they do this to the Rebbe?
    this is disturbing because its an issue which is past spiritual issues, it is psychological or psychiatric, and certainly socially inappropriate.
    Get cameras, and once that has happened, maybe they should be reported to Social Services, or something. Something has to be done. If they can do that to our beloved Rebbe and 770, and the abishter, then they are capable of hurting others and themselves as well. Wake up, this is really past what you think.

    Remember that they didnt just break a window. It was not burgalry, it was VANDALISM to social property.
    this is just going to lead those who did it into a very dangerous situation one day. They are doing what is assur in Torah and in Secular, and if they keep going, I pray that nobody gets hurt, but that they are stopped and rehabilitated.

    I think considering that these are very unwell, unbalanced people doing this, that there should be a list of all that has happened….they have done a series of violence, including beating up a shaliach about 2 years ago, etc.
    We need to bring to the community’s attention that this is really doing damage, we need to see this and try to do something to stop or prevent it. These are criminals with no sense of social justice, which is in Torah.

    The solution is obvious and the lack of leadership is equally obvious. The behavior, whether or not exaggerated, could be described as sociopathic. It is difficult to understand why no one is “in charge”. If silence is similar to agreement, one has to assume that Chabad “leadership” has moved from claiming that the Messiachists are a splinter group of non-conformists, to the outright acceptance of this behavior.   • UPDATE: Meshichst violence

    It turns out that the Meshichistim are not the only ones making threats to the victim of the Meshichist assault.

    The day after the vicious assault, the Rosh Yeshiva of Central Lubavitcher Yeshiva in 770, Rabbi Zalman Labkovsky, called in the young man who was viciously assaulted with a punch in the face and reprimanded him for calling the police and treating to expel him from the Yeshiva (by canceling his student visa). Those the young man has become a victim twice.

    As to the violent Meshichistim thugs? Well, they continue to dance of-course.
