The Hammers jumped out to an early five to nothing lead in the third inning, it would have been more if not for the amazing catch by the Heifers left fielder Moshe Muchnik off the bat of Sholom Bronstein. In the fourth inning the Heifers got on the board with two runs, and it would have been more if not for the incredible catch by Berel Nagel off the gate in center feild, and then tied it in the bottom of the fifth on Dovi Smiths infield single to third, Dovi who is recovering from a severe ankle sprain which forced him to sit out over a month of the season due to the injury.

The Hammers took the lead in the bottom of the sixth, and when the dust settled the score stood at 9 to 5 and took the lead into the bottom of the seventh where Heifers scored another two and that rally ended with a hard line drive to third which was snagged by Josh Lipkind ending the game with a victory for the Hammers.

The playoffs continue Thursday, September 5th with the House of Glatt Kloppers versus the Sweet Expressions Skullcaps when they face off for game one of their best of three matchup.
