Popcorn Menorah Lit at ‘POPin’ Chanukah Party’

Chabad of Orange County, NY, led by Rabbi Pesach and Chana Burston, hosted its annual community event by renting out the entire Colonial Bowling Lanes in Chester, NY. This year’s theme was “POP’in Chanukah,” with the lighting of a nine-foot popcorn menorah!

Adults and children alike – including Goshen Mayor Kyle Roddey – had fun filling it and then lighting it.

The menorah was also lit by Judge Carol Klein and Chabad President Gil Goetz.

The event was attended by more than two hundred people from all over the area.

The event also featured a “POPin’ Balloon Show,” with the Ballooniac, hot buffet dinner (including poppers, of course!), latkes, doughnuts, deridel games, bowling, a performance by the hebrew school Choir and more.
