Ambassador David Friedman Meets Shliach At His Home

Two weeks ago, while Rabbi Chaim and Sora Jacobs the Shluchim to Scotland were in New York for the Lubavitch Shluchim Conference, they met with US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman at his home New York.

David was the keynote speaker at the Conference Gala banquet at which he told over a miracle with his health.

Over ten years ago he was suffering from terrible back pain which was becoming worse each day.

His wife suggested they check the door Mezuzahs of their home and he contacted Rabbi Wolowick the Chabad Shliach in Five Towns NY. Rabbi Wolowick suggested that besides checking and replacing his Mezuzahs that he checked his Tefillin.

Almost all items were posul, the lettering were mostly faded. Everything was replaced, and since then he puts on kosher Tefillin each weekday morning and the pain has never recurred!

20 months ago on the opening of the USA Embassy in Jerusalem Sholom Jacobs who is a personal friend of David was invited to the Embassy Opening.
