This Year, Be A Part Of Mivtza Lulav

Following on the Rebbe, our Nosi Hador’s initiative that during the days of Sukkos everyone should go out and give every Yid a chance to shake the Lulav and Esrog, please take your set along with you wherever you may end up duringSukkos! “Whether you are going on a family outing or running some errands, take your lulav and esrog with you, since you never know who you will encounter,” says Rabbi Shlomo Friedman, director of Tzach here in Crown Heights. The Daled Minim represent the 4 types of Yidden, and by shaking all 4 types, we add in Achdus during the special time of Zman Simchaseinu. If BeHashgacha Pratis Hashem chooses you to be a Shliach and encounter a fellow Yid in a store, or on the street, now you will have the supplies necessary to give him or her the Zechus of taking part in this special mitzvah! In light of this necessity, Tzach is IYH opening a Mivtza Lulav Center for women and girls where they can come pick up pre-made Mivtzoim Lulav Sets, to take with them on mivtzoim or wherever they might be. Conveniently located near the train station, the center will be set up at 305 Kingston Ave (directly across the hallway from the Levi Yitzchok Library) and will be open on Chol Hamoed – Wednesday 12 – 4 PM, Thursday 12 – 4 PM, Friday 12 – 1:30 PM, and Sunday (flexible hours based on feedback and interest). We have over 60 sets of ready Lulavim and Esrogim to be picked up at your convenience during our hours. Contacting us beforehand to have your set ready and prepared is optional, but can be convenient should our supplies all be in use. Looking forward to greeting you when you stop by!

Crown Heights families: Please sign up to receive a nursing home location, where you will be able to have the zechus of sharing the joy of Sukkos with all those who unfortunately are not with their own families to celebrate Yom Tov. Let us remember Klal Yisroel’s Bubbies and Zaydies as they remember their memories of Sukkos spent back in Europe, Russia and across the globe. Ufaratzta! Together, let us spread the Chayus and Simcha of Sukkos throughout all our surroundings!!

Thank You for joining us make Shake Up NY 5780 a reality!!
