A Sefer Torah, commissioned by the Aleph Institute and funded by a philanthropist, was dedicated Thursday in honor of Professor Alan Dershowitz, for his tireless efforts on behalf of Rabbi Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin and many others.

The completion of the torah took place at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights, and was marched in a large procession to 770 Eastern Parkway, where the celebrations commenced.

Hundreds of community members attended the celebration, along with Professor Alan Dershowitz, Rabbi Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, and other dignitaries.

The event was produced in under ten days, by Mendy Kulski and Mendel Rosenfeld of Swiss Events.
