Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, accompanied by a delegation of rabbis, was given a tour of the factory that produces the world renowned ‘Russian Standard’ vodka, as well as the locally popular ‘Baltika’ brand of beer.

The food industry has changed so much in the days that I began to work as a Masghiach. One of the three major improvements has been in the technological innovations with production and machinery and support machinery. The other is in safety as standards have increased and methodology for safety improvements of the finished product have been implemented. And, of course, the last major development has been the returned interests in the source of foods such as non GMO, Organic, Vegan and so forth.
