Cheder at the Ohel Holds Yud Tes Kislev Museum

In honor of Yud Tes Kislev, Cheder at the Ohel had a special program. All the classes worked very hard to create exhibitions to be set up in the gym about Yud Tes Kislev and the Alter Rebbe.

There were a total of nine exhibitions, the 7th grade made four and each other grade made one. The students took turns walking through the exhibitions and they were able to relive the story of Yud Tes Kislev. Another school even came over to see the exhibits.

After the program, which included live music – flute and clarinet played by two Cheder boys – there was a very special farbrengen and seuda with Rabbi Yossi Deren, Shliach from Greenwich, Connecticut, and a Cheder parent. Rabbi Deren farbrenged first with the entire Cheder and then continued with only the oldest grade.
