Boruch Dayan Hoemes: Moussia Zaltzman, 6, OBM

With great sadness, shock and deep pain we inform you of the tragic and untimely passing of Chaya Mushka (Moussia) Zaltzman OBM, daughter of Rabbi Zalman and Perla Zaltzman Ybd”l Shluchim in Canada. She was 6 years old.

Moussia had been in critical condition following an accident for nearly two weeks, and tens of thousands around the world joined in to say tehillim in the merit of her recovery. Sadly, she passed away Shabbos morning.

She is survived by her parents Rabbi Zalman and Perla Zaltzman, Directors of Chabad Jewish Center of Niagara in S. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and siblings Mendel (10), Daniel (8) and Pessia Esther (3).

The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, 3:00pm at 770 Chabad Gate in Thornhill, and passing by the Hamilton Hebrew Academy, 60 Dow Ave, Hamilton, ON, at 4:00pm. Kevurah will be at Anshe Yosher in Niagara Falls at 5:00pm.

The family will be sitting Shiva at their home at 12 Wood-Dale Drive, S. Catharines, ON.

    Baruch Dayan emes!! Moussia was such a sweet, imaginative and leibik little girl. I am positively shocked at the news of her passing.

    It is with a broken heart and sadness that I read the passing of Moussia. Baruj Dayan Haemet. It brings bad memories when we lost our sister at the age of 7 as a result of a tragic car accident as well. There’s nothing worse than burying your child or younger sibling. May she R.I.P. And May Hashem give the strength to the family during this dark time. Baruj Dayan Haemet!

    We just met last summer as we watched her play with the other children during the Shabbos we spent together vacationing in NiahNiaNiagara a. She was a sweet lichtige girl. May Hashem give the parents, the shiluchim of Niagara Falls area the strength to gather the pieces of their broken hearts and continue to do good for the Klal and have nachas from their children.
