Chassidim Gather in Jerusalem to Celebrate, Mourn

Hundreds of Chassidim of all stripes gathered at Yeshivas Toras Emes in Jerusalem to celebrate Rosh Chodesh Kislev – the day the Rebbe returned home after suffering a heart attack in 1977. The gathering was also an opportunity to mourn the three lives lost that morning in a rocket attack on an apartment building in Nachlat Har Chabad.

A crowd of over 300 arrived for the Farbrengen, despite having gotten off to a late start due to the Levaya for the Kedoshim

Several Rabbonim and Mashpi’im addressed the crowd, including: Rabbi Zev Dov Segal, Rosh Yeshiva of Toras Emes; Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Tzirkus, Magid Shiur; and Rabbi Tuvia Zilbershtrom, Rov of Shikun Chabad in Jerusalem.

The event was organized by the Talmidei Hashluchim of Yeshivas Toras Emes.
