NYC Mayor in Paris: ‘We’ve Walked in the Same Shoes’

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio arrived in Paris today to pay his respects to the victims of the terrorist massacres at Charlie Hebdo and the Hyper Chacher supermarket. De Blasio told Parisians that New Yorkers have “walked in the same shoes.”

Rabbi Levi Matusof was part of the official delegation sent by Paris City Hall to accompany the mayor to the site of the Hyper Cacher kosher supermarker.

The Mayor mentioned his close relationship with the Crown Heights Chabad community, and thanked Rabbi Matusof for being instrumental in putting together his visit to Paris on such short notice.

The Mayor was accompanied as well by Avi Fink, his Jewish Community liaison, and by Patrick Klugman, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of international relations.

I find it very disturbing that again Shluchim just rollover and lap at any political bureaucrat. especially De Blasio. Where was De Blasio when the arabs held a parade within the last year shouting their love of Jihad? De blasio singlehandedly dissembled the NYPDs counter terror force which kept tabs on Mosques and secretly kept eyes on those spouting Jihad. Lets not forget the blood of the two police officers which covers his hands. Shame on any shliach to give this communist any legitimacy.

    Dear Batya Levyatan:

True, he may have dismantled the creepy Jihads who secretly kept eyes on those shouting their love of the NYPD, but from what I gather, I think he made the effort to get on a plane, fly to Europe so that we don’t forget the blood of the four Jews which covered their hands, and also their feet, and various other parts of their bodies.

The NYPD Benevolent Association Chief who had the blood on his hands didn’t bother showing up to show support for slain Jews. DeBlasio did. For me, as a French Jew, thats what matters.
