9-Foot-Tall Rabbi Seen Selling Raffle Tickets

What is that 9-foot-tall rabbi selling? Raffle tickets! Organizers behind the Bayis Raffle, which is offering its winner 6 months of rent or mortgage payments along with 100 seforim, got a 9-foot-tall ‘mascot’ to help sell raffle tickets over the weekend on Kingston Avenue and in 770.

Proceeds from the Bayis Raffle will go to helping continue the publication of Likras Shabbos, a publication spreading the Chassidus in non-Lubavitch shuls, as well as the daily Lightpoints and Machon Or Hachassidus.

The raffle drawing will be held on Thrusday, January 15th. Visit BayisRaffle.com to purchase tickets!

  • Legit??

Am not sure. Is Bayis a legit organization or a scam? Never heard of it before. Who runs it??

    • eh

It’s not an organization. It’s the name of a campaign for the organization which brings us the likras shabbos, the daily lightpoints, etc.
