Interesting and unusual aron. Were the doors (and wood) sponsored by Plywood Minnesota / Rudy Boschwitz?

why do thy have door that rep a cross, aka “tzaylum”. dont people know that these type of 6 pannel doors were designed to depict a cross from the internal framing of the door . Ie the lines bet, the pannels!!!!!

I also didn’t know that that’s why 6 panel doors are made like that, so I’m not surprised that they didn’t know it, however, now that it’s been brought to their attention, and one can very obviously see the cross there, I’m sure the yeshiva will make the appropriate changes. (We had the same situation in our home, with a very expensive door, and we made them take it back and remake the door. They “surprised” us and put a mogen Dovid on instead, which we also would not have ordered.) There’s a Jewish expression “a gest far a vail, zet oif a mile.” Sometimes an outsider will notice these things that someone up close doesn’t notice.
