Guests Mark 50th Anniversary of Rebbe’s Mother’s Passing

In honor of Rebbetzin Chana’s 50th Yahrtzeit yesterday, Vov Tishrei, a full-day schedule was arranged for the hundreds of guests who arrived in Crown Heights for the month of Tishrei.

The program began Monday night with a grand Farbrengen, led by Shliach to Connecticut Rabbi Yisroel Deren. The farbrengen was followed by an in-depth presentation by the librarian of Agudas Chasidei Chabad, Rabbi Sholom Dovber Levin.

On Tuesday, busses took the Bochurim to the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens, then returned them to Crown Heights, where a grand farbrengen with ‘the Choizer’ Reb Yoel Kahn awaited them.

The program was arranged by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Ha’olami, an organization seeing to the needs of the numerous guests who arrived in Crown Heights for Tishrei.

And what were the yechi and pin wearing lads doing at this time?

The meshichistim lads were “busy” arguing with the anti-kaprot loonies, thus making a chillul hashem and chillul lubavitch.

It was sad watching crazy and crazier go at it.

Its no wonder these loonies keep coming back to crown heights, they feel right at home.
