Toronto Salutes Rebbe with Mitzvah Tank Parade

In honor of Yud Alef Nissan, the Rebbe’s birthday, nine Mitzvah Tanks paraded through the streets of the Greater Toronto Area, bringing awareness of Pesach to thousands of Jews.

The parade left 770-Chabad Gate in Thornhill and travelled through many of Toronto’s busiest streets, including Yonge St., the longest street in the world.

Honoring the Rebbe’s 112th birthday, the parade made its way through several neighborhoods. After the parade, the bochurim continued on to their respective destinations and distributed thousands of Matzos, Neshek packages and Pesach guides in several languages.

Hundreds had the opportunity to don Tefillin, give Tzedaka and ignite the Jewish spark within them.

The parade was a tremendous success thanks to the support of the Toronto Anash, and the dedicated bochurim who worked tirelessly preparing and manning the Mitzvah Tanks.
