Woman Arrested for Burglarizing Chabad House

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on burglary charges for stealing cash from a Long Island Chabad House.

Suffolk County police arrested Marisa Chayet, 23, after she allegedly swiped cash from the Chabad Torah Community Center in Lake Grove, NY. Police did not indicate how much was stolen.

Chayet was also charged with a June 22 burglary at a house in Lake Grove. Police said she got in through the front door, and took jewelry and a computer.

Chayet is charged with second-degree and third-degree burglary, both of which are felonies.
