Drunk Driver Rear Ends Double Parked Car

Crown Heights, Brooklyn –- Today, about 5:30 PM, a red Chevy Malibu driven by a drunk driver, slammed into the rear of a double parked Mercedes. The incident took place on Lefferts Ave between Brooklyn and Kingston in the middle of the block.

There were no occupants in the parked car and the driver of the Chevy appeared drunk and was immediately placed in cuffs when police arrived. The drunk driver was then transported to Kings County Hospital for medical care escorted by a police officer, there were no reported other injuries.

    Tom: The driver was arrested b4 webby got there. I watched the driver get out of his car after the crash and trying to walk in a straight line but failing – the cops put him in handcuffs as soon as they got there.
