I know its wrong to say this, but the newspaper article says:
    http://www.adirondackdailye

“Police said the accident resulted from speeding”

“Just prior to the accident, Sara Rosen had momentarily unbuckled her seat belt and the infant’s”

I THINK TIME HAS COME WE STOP LOOKING FOR SPIRITUAL REASONS AND START KEEPING THE MITZVAH DEORAYSAH “VENISHMARTEM ‘MEOD’ LENAFSHOSEICHEM”.

SPEEDING ON SNOW WITH A WIFE AND A BABY WITHOUT SEATBELTS IS POSHUT SAKONAS NEFASHOS!

    REMEMBER WHAT THE GEMARA SAYS:

    KOL HADRACHIM BECHEZKAS SAKANAH

  • To Concerned:

A truly concerned person would leave off what the newspapers say, and simply write your positive thoughts. This family has enough to go through right now without your negative judgements.

    Dear Mr “concern”
What chutzpah and nerve do you have to write something like this
For starters I don’t recall reading YOU PART OF THE STORY in the news paper so don’t use the newspaper as an excuse to write something that you yourself say that you should not be saying this,
Were you in the car? How can you judge what the situation was? maybe the baby was crying here head?? maybe there was no where to stop?? You have no clue do you really think that this could not have happened do you G-d forbid?? of course we must where seat belt and be safe. All it says is that he was speeding for the condition of the weather you have no clue how fast he was going it could have been 40 or 50 mph
I THINK TIME HAS COME WE STOP LOOKING FOR SPIRITUAL REASONS AND START KEEPING THE MITZVAH AHAVAS YISROEL AND RECHILOS AND AL TDIN ES CHAVERCHA… I CAN GO ON ALL THE NONSENSE YOU JUST WROTE
MAY WE ONLY HEAR GOOD NEWS!

  • It happened to us

This tragedy really hit home for us. We were in a terrible car accident 3 years ago. We smashed into an 18 wheeler truck and skidded across a 4 lane highway twice. we ended up in the trees in a ditch. It was also snowing and we had our kids with us. B”H we only had scratches and whiplash, even though our car was smashed. Since that accident we made 3 very important decisions 1. NEVER drive in snow. Its just not worth it.
    2. SLOW DOWN we just don’t speed anymore. And if the weather is not sunny we drive even slower. So you’ll get there a little later but you’ll get there alive.
and 3.If we need to nurse a baby we stop. We never unbuckle the kids or myself.
(We were all buckled in- without that i shudder to think what could have happened.)
If a baby is hysterical then it needs to eat. So I thought of a way which works great. pump. take a portable pump with you and as soon as you get in the car and the baby falls asleep you pump. keep it warm on the dashboard. When the baby wakes up give it to an older child or reach behind to hold it for the baby. You and the baby are still buckled in.
as soon as the baby is fed, pump again. this way you always have a bottle available when baby is hungry. (It won’t need refrigeration for 3 hours)
If you start the baby on bottles when they are a few weeks old then they will always take it.
My baby is 4 months old and he has only taken a bottle 4 times. Its there if you need it.
