Plans Underway to Care for 1,000+ Tishrei Guests

The director of the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Ha’olami, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Altein, met recently with three Askanim who have taken upon themselves a large share of the financial burden of caring for over 1,000 guests who will be arriving from all over the world to spend Tishrei in Crown Heights.

6 Indicted for Welfare Fraud in Williamsburg

Federal criminal charges were filed today against six Chasidic Jews in Williamsburg for participating in long-running schemes to hide substantial assets and income obtained from significant business and real estate interests in order to attain government benefits designed for low-income individuals.

Chabad in N.E. London Hosts Whiskey Tasting

The Chabad Events Team (CET) supporting the social support services of Chabad across Essex, UK, held another of their very popular Whisky Tasting Evenings on Monday evening 19th September at their Chabad Buckhurst Hill branch.
